There are a few simple steps we recommend our customers take ahead of implementation to ensure a quick and easy transition into our asset tracking software.

During Implementation

Kick-off Meeting. TrackAbout’s team meets with you to confirm your main objectives, determine the project timeline and identify project leaders.

Data gathering and configuration. During this step, we configure your TrackAbout environment and work together to gather the information that will be bulk loaded into TrackAbout. We also continue to learn about your processes to help create a complete workflow.

Registration. Users will start scanning after all data is uploaded. This process requires users to collect all relevant asset information and physically scan the asset into TrackAbout’s database.

Internal Tracking and Fill. During this stage, we track movement to vendors, suppliers and other branch locations. The filling process changes assets from empty to full.

Distribution. This details the process of moving assets from an ‘in-house' location to a customer’s location.
