As co-founder of TrackAbout, Tim took the software from an idea to a marketable product.
Prior to TrackAbout, Tim was a senior technical lead for web applications development with R.R. Donnelly & Sons. Before this, he was the technical lead for the ecommerce store at randmcnally.com. He started his professional career as a technology consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) at the Internet Center of Excellence in Chicago.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
As Chairman and Chief Storyteller, Jim leverages his 30 years of experience in building and selling mobile tracking solutions to advance the bulk and packaged gas industry.
Jim’s professional experience includes the founding of four companies over the past 40 years. Before his current position at TrackAbout, Jim served as its co-founder and CEO for 12 years.
Previously, he was a technology architect and consultant at COSBO Industrial Design. This consultancy was an outgrowth of the 15 years Jim worked as a technology specialist for Butler Gas Products Company, a packaged gas distributor.
He also co-founded Helium Networks, a wireless network design and implementation products company, and Thought Products, Inc. which specialized in the design and manufacture of hand weaving looms, benches and specialty furniture.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
As Chief Technology Officer, Larry sets the technological direction for TrackAbout.
Prior to joining TrackAbout, Larry was Director of Technology for the Rand McNally corporation’s online division. There he was responsible primarily for the systems architecture and engineering of the company’s online products and services. Larry led a team of over 30 software engineers in developing best-in-class online travel planning and ecommerce tools.
Larry’s previous experience includes manager in the Technology R&D organization at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture Technology Labs).
Larry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
