As Chairman and CEO, Jim leverages his experience converting innovative concepts to operational businesses.
Jim Glessner's professional experience includes the founding of four companies over the past thirty years. Before becoming Chairman and CEO of TrackAbout, Jim was a private consultant doing technology architecture at COSBO Industrial Design. This consultancy was an outgrowth of the 15 years Jim worked as a technology specialist for a packaged gas distributor, Butler Gas Products Company. Previously, Jim co-founded Helium Networks, a wireless network design and implementation products company, and Thought Products, Inc. specializing in the design and manufacture of hand weaving looms, benches and specialty furniture.
Jim holds a B.A. degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
President and COO
As co-founder of TrackAbout, Tim took the software from an idea to a marketable product.
Prior to TrackAbout, Tim was a senior technical lead for web applications development with R.R. Donnelly & Sons. Before this he was the technical lead for randmcnally.com's eCommerce store. He started his professional career as a technology consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) at the Internet Center of Excellence in Chicago.
Tim holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Vice President and CTO
As CTO of TrackAbout, Larry sets the technological direction for TrackAbout.
Prior to joining TrackAbout, Larry was Director of Technology for the Rand McNally corporation's online division. There he was primarily responsible for the systems architecture and engineering of Rand McNally's online products and services. Larry led a team of over thirty software engineers developing best-in-class online travel planning and eCommerce tools.
Previous experience includes manager in the Technology R&D organization at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture Technology Labs).
Larry holds a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
