TrackAbout is delivered as software-as-a-service with extensive expertise in all aspects of 'real-world' asset tracking. TrackAbout enables you to embark on a technology pathway that meets your unique business needs. While Core Tracking is required to use the service, all other modules with more specific functionality can be utilized and added as needed.
Enables customers to identify the quantity, type and location of their assets using mobile computing technology. Asset data is collected using handheld scanning devices and validated by the TrackAbout data center to provide accurate reporting and invoicing for effective asset management. Maintains asset balances at end user locations to ensure accurate calculation of rental and lease statements. Daily, monthly, flat, peak, free days, leases and many other rental formulas are built in and ready to use. Special rental or lease program requirements can be accommodated. Rental bills are sent by TrackAbout through third party billing services or sent directly to the customer's accounting system for delivery. Eliminates the need for paper shipping invoices. Orders for delivery are sequenced and checked against materials loaded on the truck and then synchronized into the driver's handheld computer. As the driver makes deliveries, transactions are captured electronically by scanning the assets delivered and returned. The logic in the handheld computer compares order details and empty cylinder balances at the customer to determine if a 100% accurate delivery and pick up has been made. Completed orders in the handheld are then uploaded electronically into the billing system. This process greatly improves accuracy and minimizes the time and labor of manual data entry.

Completed orders in the handheld are then uploaded electronically into the billing system. Allows TrackAbout customers to share asset information with other TrackAbout customers that use a common supply chain. Both organizations see the delivery and exchange of assets between facilities which can prevent invoicing and other supply chain transaction discrepancies. Redundancy of re-initializing assets is eliminated as they move from one organization to another and the receiving entity doesn't have to duplicate the effort of labeling and classifying assets. Gas analysis for tube trailer contents can also be documented. Gases supported by this module are Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Oxygen. Precisely recording the volume of gas in tube trailers at various times during their life cycle greatly improves the accuracy of invoicing. With the volumes of gas in tube trailers this can result in significant savings.
